There are a few required settings needed in order to capture height photos that can be used for measuring. The menus could appear different depending on which camera body you are using, but the required settings are the same regardless:
Internal clock must be set
Shooting mode must be set to P for “Program"
Distortion Correction must be enabled
Image size must be set to Large
RAW format must be disabled
Aspect ratio must be set to 3:2
For the Canon EOS R100 with the RF24-105mm F4 7.1 IS STM lens, distortion correction is automatically on and cannot be manually turned off.
