Drip loops should appear anytime cables route to underground or there are secondary service cables. This means at times you will notice drip loops at the pole not attached to any specific equipment (such as with transformers or streetlights). These drip loops should be annotated at the lowest point in order to maintain accurate make ready clearances from power.
The difficult aspect of annotating drip loops is accounting for parallax, the visual effect of the depth in a 2D photo. This isn't an issue with most attachments since we annotate at the bolts on the pole but drip loops aren't attached to the pole. You will want to compensate for parallax when marking drip loops, keeping in mind that cables coming toward the photographer will appear higher than they really are, while cables on the backside moving away from the camera will appear lower than they really are.
In order to annotate drip loops, you will use the equipment input. You will need to set the equipment type to drip loop and as usual, you will need to set the drip loop spec attribute. Ensure you have set the company attribute as well.
