We recommend creating a training job to go and practice on first. This usually doesn't need to be too complex, but if possible, extract approximately 5 poles worth of previously collected data. Get familiar with the tools and software functions, identify areas that are strengths for you as well as areas you are unclear about and need more information on.

One of the best ways to know what you've learned and understand areas for improvement is assess your knowledge and skills. Each user can signup for certification as a way to demonstrate what you know.
