If there is equipment on the pole, you'll first be prompted to set the bearings, which indicate the direction the equipment is facing on the pole. Bearings follow a compass orientation, with 0° as north, 90° as east, 180° as south, and 270° as west. You'll notice a prompt window at the bottom of the Map page asking you to set bearings for specific equipment. To set the bearing, position your mouse cursor on the map using the shadow dropper to represent the side of the pole the equipment is facing—the distance from the node doesn't matter, only the direction. Once you've lined up the cursor correctly on the map, click in the background of the map to set the bearing for that equipment.
